Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 400 degrees. Line rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange bacon on prepared sheet (slices can overlap slightly). Bake until brown and crisp, 10 to 15 minutes, rotating sheet halfway through baking. Transfer bacon to paper towel–lined plate to drain. Serve.

Notes

Stephenie: This worked out well. I bought 3 packs of bacon on sale, cooked it on 2 baking sheets, and froze the cooked bacon in a Ziploc bag. That makes it easy to pull out individual slices for a recipe. I also saved lots of bacon fat - around 18 Tbsp, that I separated into small bowls and refrigerated/froze for recipes.
