In 2003, we went to visit Hattie. Hattie lived in Virginia at the time and we did the tourist thing in DC.
We visited the Mall (museums). The most memorable thing there was touching the moon rock. We went to the National Zoo and saw the Pandas. We saw the Lincoln Memorial, the Capital Building, and Drove by the White House. We made a trip through Grand Central Station.
All in all, it was a wonderful vacation and a nice visit with a friend. On the way home, I asked Kendra what her favorite thing was. It was riding the Metro.
