Prom 2012

Prom 2011
Kendra’s school prom this year was on April 30. Prom was scheduled for 9:00 PM! I thought that was pretty late.
At 4:30 our Photographer, Sabrina and our hairdresser, Misty showed up. Misty made Kendra’s hair absolutely beautiful. It was a lovely side bun with a flower that matched Kendra’s dress. Sabrina took pictures of Kendra getting ready and photos of her with her friends at Ashland – the Henry Clay Estate. After pictures, the kids had dinner reservations at Malone’s at Tates Creek, then headed to prom.
After prom, Kendra had been invited to an after-party, but had already decided not to attend. Several of her friends also didn’t want to go the party where there would be alcohol, so one of the girls invited a bunch of them over to her house. Her parents stayed up and they made S’mores and watched TV. Kendra headed home at 2 am because she had to be at work at 9 am.
