In 2014, we took a diving trip to Grand Cayman over Christmas break.

Day One: Travel

I got a pedicure before the trip, we flew through Atlanta, and we arrived at the resort. Our room at Cobalt Coast was a little shabby (the hair dryer barely worked due to electrical problems) but clean and we were pretty happy. Dinner and drinks were delicious.

Day Two: Diving

Wreck diving the Kittiwake!! And a little beach time at the resort.

Day Three: Diving

We did a deep dive and saw a hammerhead shark off in the distance. Kendra got a little too close to a lionfish. We did an afternoon dive at Stingray City. We wore our Santa hats for Christmas Eve dinner.

Day Four: Christmas Day

There was no diving on Christmas day, but we hung out at the resort and on the beach. There was shore diving available, but we decided to just relax.

Day Five: West Side Diving

On the day after Christmas, the waves on the north end of the island were a little rough, and the dive shop took us in a van down the coast to a smoother dive site. We did a little diving with our Santa hats.

Day Six: Last Dive Day

We enjoyed our last day of diving and went into town in the hot afternoon sun (and on a bus) to visit a turtle farm.

Day Seven: Travel

We woke to a nice sunrise and had a  (quick) pretty lunch on the beach at the resort before we went to the airport and home.
